The Air uses the A14 Bionic chip which is expected to be in the iPhone 12, making the iPad Air faster than even the iPad Pro, though the enhanced display, Face ID and greater graphical capabilities of the Pro will still appeal to those who want the most powerful tablet.

The 10.9in display, compatibility with the Magic Keyboard accessory and Apple Pencil (second-generation), the all-new and colorful design with all-screen front have meant the new tablet is highly anticipated.

So, when exactly can you buy one?

Recent tweets from reliable analysts have suggested it’s very nearly here. Here’s what we know.

iPhone 12 launch on Tuesday will reveal the date, surely?

When Apple unveils its latest products, including HomePod mini and four different models of the iPhone 12, this Tuesday, October 13. So, that might be the perfect time for Apple to announce when the new iPad Air will be on sale. And, since the iPhones are expected to use the same chip as the iPad Air, it’s a great chance to big up the capabilities of the processor all over again.

Respected leaker Jon Prosser has said that Tuesday’s event is when the date for the iPad Air going on sale will be revealed.

Stunning New Surface Pro X Will Make You Forget Apple’s MacBook

Microsoft has updated its Surface line-up with two challengers taking on key parts of the market. The Surface Laptop Go takes on the mid-range Windows 10 laptop space, while the updated Surface Pro X pushes Microsoft’s plans for Windows 10 on ARM

With Apple set to launch its own ARM-powered MacBook, who has the advantage in this new frontier?

Let’s start with the Pro X. Last year’s Surface Pro X, the first ARM-powered Surface machine, was aiming at a particular group of customers. 2020’s Pro X update hasn’t changed this approach.

The Pro X family is for those looking for a highly mobile device, with 4G LTE connectivity, long battery life, and a focus on productivity. It remains a superb client for cloud based services be they from Microsoft or other providers. If your work revolved around Microsoft Office, Teams, Slack, and web-based tools, the Pro X is designed for you.

It remains to be seen how Apple will pitch its upcoming ARM-powered MacBook, but the same advantages driving the Pro X choices apply to ARM on MacOS. Apple has been its traditionally tight-lipped self in regards the capabilities and the marketing of the machines. While there have been benchmarks of the Developer Transition Kits running the older A12Z chip, nothing official has been communicated.

Those benchmarks put the performance just below the level of this year’s entry-level MacBook Air with an Intel Core-i3 chip, although the benchmarking software will be running in emulation mode. Apps coded directly for ARM should and more performance. That echoes the same performance gap seen in 2019’s Pro X; native ARM apps flew while the emulation for 32-bit x86 apps was competent performance but not stunning.

Both Windows 10 and macOS are going to need to deal with

Watch Firefly Aerospace test-fire its Alpha rocket in this stunning drone video

An epic set of new videos shows the fiery power of Firefly Aerospace’s forthcoming Alpha rocket.

The company showed off first-stage testing, which will certify Alpha for a test flight this fall, in new YouTube videos which include drone footage, fixed ground footage and a mix of cameras that also show off the engines swiveling to test maneuvers during flight.

“Today we performed a test of the Alpha flight first stage,” the startup company said on Twitter Sept. 20. “The four Reaver engines performed 35 seconds of thrust vector control maneuvers, challenging the flame deflectors to constrain all that Reaver power. Today’s test was a major step in Firefly’s march to first flight.”

The two-stage Alpha rocket was supposed to make its debut earlier in 2020, but physical distancing and shipping delays related to the novel coronavirus pandemic delayed that timeline, company representatives told Space.com in August.

“Over the last few months, there have been even more challenges than we usually have in this industry,” Robb Kulin, Firefly’s chief operating officer, said at the time. Despite these obstacles, the company passed several key milestones to compete in the fast-growing small rocket industry, including shipping the Firefly mobile launch stand from Texas to its destination at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

Firefly Aerospace arose after a predecessor entity, Firefly Space Systems, entered bankruptcy protection in 2016 due to a major investor pulling out due to Brexit. The company has been expanding rapidly, including a $52 million investment in 2019 that included starting a second launch site at Cape Canaveral, Fla. Other ongoing projects include developing a larger rocket

Stunning images from Hubble, Chandra, and more reveal value of space telescope teamwork

What do you get when you put a space telescope to work with another space telescope or two? Amazing compilation images of our universe.

NASA recently highlighted some collaborations between its Chandra X-ray Observatory and other telescopes, particularly the Hubble Space Telescope, showing what sorts of images can be produced when you look at the same object in different wavelengths of light.

The galaxy M82 can be seen edge-on from Earth, allowing scientists a great perspective whenever star formation occurs, since there is little to block our view. Chandra observations, visible in blue and pink, show bursts of high temperatures created when gas is heated by supernova explosions. The Hubble Space Telescope’s optical images (shown in red and orange) reveal the galaxy’s shape.

The galaxy cluster Abell 2744 includes a lot of superheated gas that glows brightly in X-rays. The X-rays are seen in Chandra data as blue clouds, juxtaposed with the optical light detected by Hubble and shown in red, green and blue. Galaxy clusters are enormous collections of galaxies held together by gravity, and these behemoths teach astronomers about the structure of the universe.

A supernova explosion that occurred on Feb. 24, 1987, is still producing valuable scientific data a generation later. Telescopes regularly revisit Supernova 1987A to see how its gas and dust morph over the years. Chandra data (in blue) show the shockwave of the supernova hitting a shell roughly four light-years in diameter of material surrounding the exploded star. Hubble’s view also shows some of the interaction in optical wavelengths, shown here in

The “STUNNING” Truth

The world of electronics has been an incredible assist in globalization and has contributed a great deal in bettering the life of an individual. They are controlled by an influence construction that has dominated each facet of not only our political process but our on a regular basis lives. I add ten to one hundred names a day on my list of people who learn letters or at the least receive them.

Personally I feel that ‘transhumanism’ – the quest to upgrade and improve on basic human biology through know-how, has massive potential to enhance our lives by rising life spans, increasing intelligence, our bodily talents and way more.

Actually talking i had made plenty of research on this topic and i believe not as a muslim but holding in view the scientific details that one thing is gonna occur on that specific day i do know most of people will disagree with me but this is my considering and i cant help it.

Many people, together with a majority of climate scientists, are of the opinion that man-made global warming is real and will have a devastating influence on human life, wiping out major coastal cities, creating large deserts, and resulting in all out wars over treasured water supplies across the world.

I’m beginning to have trust issues with the internet, after being fooled several times I started to do analysis first earlier than sharing the information on my wall. Nano know-how spreads through large parts of human life. It is the information industries constant seek for new methods to generate profits that has fueled much innovation in some areas of web video.…
